Give your toddler safe creative 
options for decorating Easter eggs

Boil Eggs

Let eggs dry completely before decorating

You can use paint brushes or Q-tips for painting

Your toddler can use markers or crayons for decorating

You can use store bought paint,
 pudding paints with food coloring,
homemade paints, etc...
 

I prefer to use edible paint just in case
 my son decides to eat the paint lol

My son ended up rolling the eggs in paint and he loved it

Allow your child to explore and use their own creativity! :)

Colorful Pudding Paints

Vanilla Pudding Finger Paints

Directions:
1.Make a box of Vanilla Pudding
2.Pour it equally into 4 containers
3.Add 2 drops food coloring & stir

Put dabs of paint on paper

Talk to your child
about the different colors

Put paper on cookie sheet to
help prevent a big mess on your table

Won't harm your child if they
eat some of the paint since it is edible :)

Toddler Rice Sensory Activity

Fast, Simple, Educational, and Toddlers Love this!

What is needed for this activity:
*Random toys & household items
*1 Big bowl or tub
*1 Bag of rice or dry beans

Now it is time to get your Sensory on!! :)

Adding a small shovel or spoon
helps your child to work on utensil control.

Stay close to your child during this activity!
Don't want your toddler eating rice or dry beans,
 or spilling the bowl all over the ground! ;)

Homemade Play-dough with Gold Specks

Homemade Play-dough finished product

INGREDIENTS:
Whole Wheat Flour-1 1/4 Cups
Boiling Water w/ food coloring-1 1/4 Cups
Salt-1/2 Cup
Cream of Tartar-1 Tbsp
Cooking Oil-1 Tbsp

Mix all ingredients together
(add water w/ food coloring last)
then immediately roll ball of dough on counter
with flour and knead/squish flour into dough
until it isn't sticky then it is...
TIME TO PLAY!!!
